What’s with the Dinosaurs?
KNOWING THE SMALLEST THINGS MAKES A DIFFERENCE.
During my time recruiting for entry-level talent programs, I wanted to stand out from the homogeneity of corporate America. So, I started handing out tiny toy dinosaurs to my recruits. What began as a small gesture ended up making a big impact. When I announced my departure from the company, a recruit approached me and said, "I may not always be at this company, but I will always have my dinosaur on my desk and think of you." This heartfelt comment showed me just how much the tiny toys meant to my recruits. Even when I consulted at various companies, it became a competition between hiring managers to have the most dinosaurs on their desks. While the recipients enjoyed their tiny toys, I also felt a sense of joy from creating a positive and memorable experience for others. This experience taught me that even the smallest things can make a big difference in people's lives. HERE’S TO TINY DINOSAURS ON EVERYONE’S DESK!
